DALI Wood Industry is coming to New Delhi with a clear invitation for India's furniture manufacturers, brands, architects and product developers: bring us the curve you want to build.
From 7 to 9 August 2026, the DALI team will be at INDEXPLUS, Yashobhoomi (IICC), Dwarka, New Delhi. Visitors can find us in Hall 2, Booth CP06. The exhibition brings furniture, interiors and design professionals together, making it an ideal place to move a new product from conversation toward a practical sample plan.
DALI has more than 25 years of experience in bent wood and molded plywood, four manufacturing bases, exports to more than 50 countries and experience serving over 12,000 customers. At INDEXPLUS New Delhi, the focus is not only on showing existing products. It is on helping Indian buyers develop products that fit their own market, price level and brand direction.
India's furniture market needs both volume and variety. Large manufacturers may require reliable component supply for repeat programs, while younger brands and regional distributors often need a smaller first step to test a new shape. Both groups benefit when development cost, tooling cost and communication time are controlled early.
DALI offers a practical combination: a large existing mold library, in-house pressing experience, flexible custom tooling and a team familiar with chair, sofa, bed and specialty furniture structures. An Indian buyer can arrive with a sketch, CAD file, 3D model, physical sample, reference chair or target dimensions. The discussion can then focus on curvature, thickness, veneer, connection points, expected load, finish, order volume and target cost.
China and India are regional Asian trading partners. Compared with a transcontinental supply chain, sea freight from southern China to major Indian ports can provide a practical route for samples, components and repeat orders. Final freight time and cost depend on the origin port, destination port, sailing schedule, shipment size and trade terms, so these details should be confirmed for each order. The advantage is that product development and regional logistics can be planned together from the beginning.

A useful exhibition conversation should produce more than a brochure exchange. At Booth CP06, buyers can discuss the actual product brief and identify the quickest path forward.
Existing mold route: select or adapt a suitable shape from DALI's mold library to reduce initial development cost.
Custom mold route: evaluate a new mold when the curve, dimensions or connection geometry is unique.
Prototype route: prepare a sample for appearance, comfort, fit and assembly review before confirming volume.
Component route: source molded plywood seat, back, arm, shell or inner-frame parts for assembly in India.
Complete-product route: discuss a finished chair or other eligible furniture item with confirmed materials and packaging.
DALI's development costs and mold fees are competitive because tooling and molded plywood production are closely connected. Existing molds can lower the entry point further, while new tools are quoted according to actual size, complexity, pressure requirement and expected production volume. Sampling speed is confirmed project by project after the drawing and material specification are reviewed.

DALI's custom capability extends across eight major furniture directions. Each category can begin with an existing mold, a modified structure or a completely new tool.
Dining chairs: curved seats, backs, one-piece shells, arm parts and complete wood or metal-frame chair programs.
Office chairs: high-back shells, seat boards, back supports, arm structures and upholstered inner components.
Lounge chairs: deeper curved shells, armchair structures, rocking-chair parts and hospitality seating components.
Training and public seating: compact seat and back boards for meeting, education, canteen and multi-purpose spaces.
Sofa components: curved arm panels, backs, inner shells and shaped plywood structures for upholstered furniture.
Bed components: curved headboards, side structures and shaped panels for residential and hotel furniture.
Pet furniture: curved plywood houses, beds, platforms and brand-specific pet product structures.
Special curved parts: cylindrical, U-shaped, multi-radius and other molded components beyond standard chair geometry.
Veneer species, grain direction, surface finish, paint, laminate, upholstery allowance, drilling and hardware interfaces can be reviewed as part of the same development process. The goal is not to force every buyer into one catalog shape. It is to create a repeatable component that supports the buyer's own design.

DALI's network includes four production bases and more than 200 team members. Company resources include over 100 pressing machines, approximately 50 CNC operating positions and a mold library of more than 3,000 sets across multiple furniture applications.
This scale supports different order stages. A buyer may begin with one sample, continue with a small market launch and then move into repeat production after the model is approved. Capacity is useful, but process control is equally important: veneer preparation, adhesive application, pressing parameters, conditioning, trimming, drilling, sanding and finishing must remain aligned with the approved sample.

The fastest project is usually the one with the clearest input. Buyers visiting INDEXPLUS can prepare the following information before the meeting:
drawing, dimensions, 3D file or reference sample;
intended furniture category and end-use environment;
target plywood thickness, curvature and veneer direction;
required holes, inserts, edge profile and frame connections;
surface finish, upholstery allowance and acceptable color range;
destination market, testing needs, estimated quantity and target price;
component-only or complete-product requirement;
preferred packaging and Indian destination port.
With this information, DALI can compare existing molds, identify modifications, estimate new tooling when necessary and plan the sample process. This reduces repeated revisions and helps both sides understand where cost is being created.

DALI can provide documentation according to the confirmed product and order scope. Available support includes FSC Chain of Custody certification, relevant SGS test reports and verified factory assessment materials. Buyers should specify the Indian regulation, customer standard or project requirement that applies to the finished product.
A certificate for one material or sample should not automatically be treated as proof for every finished chair. DALI's team can help identify the correct material, component or finished-product testing path during quotation and sampling.
INDEXPLUS New Delhi is an opportunity to replace long email chains with a focused technical conversation. Indian furniture companies bring strong market knowledge, local distribution and new design ideas. DALI brings molded plywood engineering, a large mold base, competitive development costs and production capacity.
Visit Hall 2, Booth CP06 at Yashobhoomi from 7 to 9 August 2026. Bring your drawing, sample or product idea. Ask about the eight custom categories, available molds, sample options, tooling costs and shipping plan. The next successful furniture model may begin with one curve discussed in New Delhi.
