The second day of INDEXPLUS New Delhi brought a powerful response to DALI Wood Industry at Hall 2, Booth CP-06. Buyers gathered around the booth to examine real bent plywood chair shells, seat and back components, arm structures and custom furniture parts. The photographs from the show floor tell the story clearly: conversations were continuous, samples were handled closely and product questions went far beyond a simple catalog request.
In an exhibition covering the full furniture and interiors industry, DALI has stood out as a specialist focused on bent plywood solutions for chairs and furniture. The company is not claiming to be the only possible supplier at the fair. Its distinction is a concentrated display of molded plywood development, tooling and production capability backed by more than 25 years of manufacturing experience.
For DALI, the exhibition has already been a strong success in terms of visitor traffic, technical discussions and new project interest. The next stage will be careful quotation, sampling and follow-up with each buyer. And there is still one final opportunity to meet the team in person: Sunday, 9 August 2026.

What attracted visitors was not only a finished chair. DALI displayed the structural parts behind many seating products: pressed plywood shells, dining-chair backs, lounge-chair bodies, office-chair inner boards and deeper curved components prepared for upholstery or frame assembly.
Indian furniture factories asked practical questions about mold fees, sample timing, minimum order quantities, natural veneer, drilling positions, connection hardware, upholstery allowance, packing and sea freight. These are the questions that determine whether a new model can move from an attractive concept to stable production.
DALI's approach is to begin with the buyer's actual requirement. A project may start from a drawing, 3D file, physical sample, reference image or target dimensions. The engineering team then reviews curvature, plywood thickness, veneer direction, edge profile and frame interface before recommending an existing mold, a modification or a new tool.
India's furniture market needs products for homes, offices, hotels, restaurants, schools, canteens, meeting rooms and public spaces. Bent plywood gives designers a practical route to create smoother chair profiles, comfortable back support and repeatable curved structures without making every product heavy or visually complicated.
For manufacturers, the commercial value comes from repeatability. Once the geometry, veneer, holes and finish are confirmed, a molded component can become the stable platform for different frames, colors, upholstery options and market levels. One well-developed shell may support several finished-chair variations.

The strongest conversations at CP-06 have happened around physical samples. Buyers can see the depth of a curve, inspect the exposed plywood edge and discuss how a shell will connect to a metal or wood frame. That makes it easier to identify risks before a mold or production order is confirmed.
DALI can support dining chairs, lounge chairs, office chairs, training and public seating, sofa components, bed components, pet furniture and special curved parts. Services include existing-mold selection, custom mold development, prototype sampling, CNC trimming and drilling, veneer and finish coordination, upholstery-ready inner shells and repeat component production.
For furniture factories: molded plywood components can be supplied for local frame production, upholstery and assembly.
For brands and distributors: DALI can discuss complete products, private-label development and packaging.
For designers: drawings and 3D files can be reviewed for practical radius, thickness and connection details.
For project buyers: material, finish, testing and quantity requirements can be matched to the intended application.

The busy booth is supported by a much larger manufacturing network. DALI has developed bent wood and molded plywood since 2001. Company information includes four production bases, more than 50,000 square meters of manufacturing space, over 200 team members, more than 100 presses and approximately 50 CNC operating positions.
A mold library of more than 3,000 sets helps buyers check proven directions before investing in a completely new tool. DALI reports annual capacity of up to four million pieces across its production network, export experience in more than 50 countries and service experience with more than 12,000 customers.
These numbers matter because a supplier must support both ends of a project: the first prototype and the repeat order. Development flexibility is useful only when veneer preparation, adhesive application, pressing, conditioning, trimming, drilling, sanding and finishing can remain aligned with the approved sample.

The final exhibition day is a good time to bring a specific project to the booth. Visitors will receive a more useful discussion when they prepare the intended furniture category, key dimensions, target plywood thickness, surface finish, expected quantity, target price and destination port.
Buyers can ask DALI to compare an idea with the existing mold library, estimate new tooling when required, plan a sample and discuss whether components or complete furniture are the better supply route. Low-volume trial requirements and long-term production programs can be evaluated according to the actual product.
For Indian partners, regional sea freight from China can provide a practical supply route, especially when components and compatible models are planned together. Final cost and transit time depend on the ports, sailing schedule, shipment size and trade terms, so logistics should be calculated project by project.
INDEXPLUS New Delhi runs through 9 August 2026 at Yashobhoomi (IICC), Dwarka. Furniture manufacturers, designers, distributors and sourcing teams are invited to visit Hall 2, Booth CP-06 for the final day.
If you cannot reach the booth, send your drawing, reference product, target dimensions, quantity and destination to anny@daliplywood.com. Price and project inquiries can also be sent by WhatsApp to +86 187 2571 6960.

The crowd at CP-06 has shown that Indian furniture companies are actively looking for stronger component partners and more efficient product-development routes. DALI welcomes one more full day of conversations in New Delhi, followed by serious sampling, quotation and cooperation after the exhibition.
